I'm 5"11 145lbs. I originally ordered a medium, but returned due to it being a little to big. Returned and got a small. Return process was easy and they kept in touch. I would size down if you are in-between sizes.
Things I like:
The small fits me absolutely perfect. The fit is athletic and is not baggy. The armor stays in place and you barely even know it's there due to it being a squishy, flexible material. The jacket is thick and heavy. Feels durable. Build quality seems good, and I have yet to notice anything out of the ordinary. I have only had the hoodie for about month, so time will tell how well it holds up to daily use.
The pockets are awesome. I never would have thought pockets on the arms would be useful, but I keep my garage opener in there. They are pretty big and can fit a fair bit without being annoying. Stomach pouch is like a normal hoodie except with a additional opening at the top which is cool.
The hoodie overall is pretty stealthy for motorcycle gear. Other then the back protector protruding slightly, it's hard to tell that you're wearing a motorcycle jacket, which I like. Looks are subjective, but it just LOOKS good.
This jacket flows way more air then I was expecting, especially for how heavy it feels. I'd say it flows slightly less then my full mesh jacket. You could easily wear this +90F. I have to put on a wind blocking layer for anything lower then 60F if I'm going on the highway for extended periods (Naked bike). I would not buy this for a cold seasons unless you plan on multiple layers. The underarm zippers are pretty neat. Can't say they give a ton more air, but that might just be because of my riding position. The jacket itself gives enough of airflow.
Things that could be better:
The thumb holes on the jacket seem like they are in the wrong position. If you try to use them you have to twist the arms of the jacket. Doing this will twist the elbow armor out of place. I don't plan on riding without gloves so it's not really an issue for me, but might be for you. It's a strange issue on a otherwise great jacket.
The draw strings on the hood get annoying if you don't tuck them out of the way while riding. Can't really complain about this as it's just the nature of any hoodie.
The back armor is heavy enough to drag the back down slightly. It only barely does this on the small I have. Wearing a backpack complete negates this. The medium I had originally would pull the zipper into my throat. Make sure you get one that fits you correctly.
There is no zipper guard on the bottom for your fuel tank when leaned over.
Re-stating that this is NOT a winter hoodie. (Not that it's marketing itself like that)
Other then that there's not much to complain about. Getting full CE level 2 armor in a jacket that's less then $300 is kind of crazy. There's other brands that charge the same and don't even include a back protector. I do wish they had some hoodies with designs or graphics, but I think RavenMoto is more about stealthy gear. This became my primary jacket, at least until it gets cold. Will definitely be trying some of RavenMoto's other gear. Easy recommend.
